Landscape Forms has relaunched SHUFFLE, a modular pole system that consolidates Wi-Fi, cameras, sensors, two-way communications and EV-charging capabilities into a single vertical structure. The company positions the product for public spaces where site functionality keeps expanding but available space does not.

According to the company, municipalities, campuses and commercial developers are adding single-purpose pole-mounted sensors, cameras, lighting and connectivity equipment as customer expectations rise. SHUFFLE is presented as a response to that pattern, intended to let site managers add capability without adding visual clutter or additional cost.

The system is built from modular components that stack on the pole and are described as easy to activate and install. Because the modules can be recombined, the design is meant to support customization at installation and adaptation as a site's needs change, while keeping a unified appearance in busy, multi-use environments.

Configuration and new modules

Landscape Forms has also added a build feature to its website to simplify specification. Clients can name their preferred camera and technology brands and then choose among the options offered within each of those brands.

The relaunch introduces a set of plug-and-play modules, including:

  • A 360-degree area light and a decorative light ring
  • A 180-degree area light
  • Quad-view and 180-degree camera options
  • Motion sensors
  • Loudspeaker and intercom modules

Shannon Lee, Business Development Manager for Smart Poles at Schréder, described the product as the solution site designers have been waiting for. In the company's account, SHUFFLE is designed to suit busy public spaces with product and feature sets that can be updated as a site evolves, integrating safety and connectivity into outdoor areas without dominating them.

Intended sites

Landscape Forms lists university and business campuses, airports and commuting hubs, shopping malls and tourist areas, concert halls, city parks, sports venues and hospitals among the environments the modular design can be configured for. The company argues that the combination of multi-use adaptability and communication features suits site managers balancing a range of requirements at one location.

Jordan Agustin, President of Lighting at Landscape Forms, framed the relaunch as technology and design working together so outdoor spaces become safer and smarter without compromising aesthetics. He said the new features enhance both the beauty and functionality of outdoor space while advancing the company's stated mission of connecting people to the outdoors and to each other.
